The former Flyers goalie will replace Keith Jones and join Jim Jackson in the NBC Sports Philadelphia broadcast booth.

When Keith Jones exited the media sphere to become the Philadelphia Flyers' president of hockey operations, fans were left wondering who would replace him to call games alongside Jim Jackson in the broadcast booth.
That question has officially been answered.
Monday afternoon, NBC Sports Philadelphia announced former NHL goaltender Brian Boucher will serve as a full-time game analyst during Flyers broadcasts.
Boucher, 46, spent 13 seasons in the NHL — six of which with the Flyers. Selected by the Flyers in the first round of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft, he went on to post an overall record of 120-139-45 along with a .901 save percentage and 2.71 goals against average.
Boucher wasted no time getting involved with broadcasting after his playing career ended in 2013. He got his start in broadcasting with Comcast SportsNet (now NBC Sports Philadelphia) and later joined NBC Sports in 2015, where he served as a studio and inside-the-glass analyst for regular-season and postseason games while contributing to NBC Olympics' coverage of the 2018 and 2022 Winter Games. He also covered the NHL for ESPN from 2021 to 2023.
"It's been my fortune to be so deeply connected with the Philadelphia region and the passionate Flyers community for nearly 30 years since joining the organization as a draft pick," Boucher said in a statement released by NBC Sports Philadelphia.
"I'm thrilled to return to this city, which my family and I consider home, and rejoin NBC Sports Philadelphia and the talented team that covers the Flyers year-round for this incredible fanbase."
