Former Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Phillipe Myers has signed a two-year contract extension with the Toronto Maple Leafs. He will carry a $850,000 cap hit starting next season.
Myers, 27, signed a one-year deal with the Maple Leafs during this past off-season. In 11 games this season with the Leafs, he has two assists, 15 blocks, 29 hits, and a plus-1 rating. He also has zero points and a plus-2 rating in three games with their AHL affiliate, the Toronto Marlies.
Philippe Myers Myers spent the beginning of his NHL career with the Flyers. In 115 games over three games with the Metropolitan Division club, he had six goals, 29 points, 191 hits, and a plus-2 rating.
