Ex-Flyers Forward Already Impressing With New Team

This former Flyers forward is off to a nice start with his new team.

On Jan. 31, the Philadelphia Flyers made a major move. Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee were traded to the Calgary Flames, while Philadelphia acquired Andrei Kuzmenko, Jakob Pelletier, a 2025 second-round pick, and a 2028 seventh-round pick.

Frost was the subject of trade rumors for quite some time, so it was not particularly surprising to see him dealt. So far, he is already taking advantage of his fresh start with the Flames.

During the Flames' most recent game against the Seattle Kraken on Feb. 2, Frost scored his first goal with his new club. It was an absolute beauty, too. Frost made a great move before beating Kraken goalie Joey Daccord top shelf with an amazing wrist shot.

This was a great way for Frost to make a first impression with the Flames. The Pacific Division club is expecting him to be a key part of their forward group, and he will be if he keeps this play up.

During his six-year stint as a Flyer, Frost had 50 goals, 85 assists, and 135 points. This included 11 goals and 25 points in 49 games with Philly before being traded to the Flames.
