The Flyers have announced their starter for their game against the Avalanche.

As Denver Barkey heads back to the London Knights after spending the last couple of months watching the Philadelphia Flyers' training camp from the sidelines, he reflects on his recovery from illness and coming back a stronger player than before.

The Philadelphia Flyers return to the ice on Monday night (Nov. 18) to face off against the Colorado Avalanche. At this juncture of the season, the Avalanche have a 9-9-0 record. While the Avalanche have had mixed results to start the season, they are always a threat with their star power.

For this matchup against the Avalanche, the Flyers will be going with Aleksei Kolosov as their starting goalie.

Kolosov will undoubtedly face a tough challenge against the Avs, as they have superstars Nathan MacKinnon, Cale Makar, and Mikko Rantanen in their lineup. It will be fascinating to see how the 22-year-old performs against them from here.
