This Flyers prospect is heating up with Lehigh Valley.

The Philadelphia Flyers have multiple promising young players in their system. One of them is forward Jacob Gaucher.

Gaucher took a notable step in the right direction this past season with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, as he recorded 20 goals and 38 points in 70 games. This helped him land an NHL entry-level contract from the Flyers last season, and he appeared in his first four career NHL games in 2024-25.

Gaucher has been solid yet again this season with the Phantoms, as he has 16 goals and 30 points in 56 games. Yet, what's more encouraging about Gaucher's play is that he is only getting better as the season rolls on.

Gaucher is simply red-hot for the Phantoms right now, and his recent stats effectively demonstrate this. In his last 12 games with the AHL squad, the 6-foot-3 forward has recorded six goals and six assists. With numbers like these, there is no question that Gaucher is impressing right now with Lehigh Valley.

Gaucher producing offense like this with the Phantoms is certainly good to see. If he keeps this kind of play up for Lehigh Valley, perhaps he could land another call-up to the Flyers' roster before the season is done. In three games this season with Philadelphia, he has zero points and two hits.
