Matvei Michkov scored an incredible goal against the Kings.

As Denver Barkey heads back to the London Knights after spending the last couple of months watching the Philadelphia Flyers' training camp from the sidelines, he reflects on his recovery from illness and coming back a stronger player than before.

Philadelphia Flyers star rookie Matvei Michkov entered last night's contest against the Los Angeles Kings with zero points over his previous seven games. While the 20-year-old winger has had some struggles as of late, he broke the ice against the Kings in a big way.

After recording the primary assist on Scott Laughton's first-period goal, Michkov scored his first goal in nine games in a truly outstanding fashion.

After securing the puck behind the Kings' net, Michkov scored an incredible goal by banking it off David Rittich's back.

With this awesome goal, Michkov now has 12 on the season in 35 games. In addition, he improved his points total to 29. From here, It will be fascinating to see how he responds after this big night against LA.
