Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports - Flyers Prospect Headed To NCAA Championship Game

Philadelphia Flyers prospect Massimo Rizzo will play in the NCAA DI Men's Ice Hockey Championship game with the University of Denver, taking on Boston College in the title match.

Rizzo has 10 goals and 34 assists in 29 games played this season, having missed a significant amount of playing time due to a lower body injury sustained on Feb. 3.

The junior center won the 2022 NCAA Championship with the Pioneers, where he was teammates with current Flyers winger Bobby Brink.

Top-ranked Boston College, where controversial former Flyers prospect Cutter Gauthier currently plays, advanced to the championship game after a dominant 4-0 over the University of Michigan, while No. 3 Denver secured a 2-1 overtime win against Boston University.

The final will be held in St. Paul, MN on Apr. 13 at 6 p.m. EST.
