Philadelphia Flyers prospects Oliver Bonk and Denver Barkey helped the London Knights complete a simply dazzling comeback in Game 3 of the OHL Championship series, overcoming a 6-2 deficit against the Oshawa Generals to secure a 7-6 double overtime win.
Bonk was a standout as the Knights fought back against their four-goal gap, getting two goals and two assists on the night.
Barkey also notched two assists of his own, including a helper on Bonk's first goal.
"Our kids battled back," Knights head coach Dale Hunter said after the game. "You're never out of the game. It's junior hockey. That's why fans like to watch it. Just keep working and good things will happen."
During the 2023-24 playoffs, across 17 games played, Bonk has collected seven goals and nine assists, while Barkey has five goals and 19 assists.
The Knights will be back in action for Game 4 in Oshawa on May 15 at 7:00 p.m.
