The Flyers are giving one of their top prospects a chance in the NHL.
The Philadelphia Flyers have made a notable roster move as they prepare for Game 3 against the Carolina Hurricanes.
The Flyers have announced that they have recalled forward Jett Luchanko from the Brantford Bulldogs of the OHL.
Luchanko played in 38 OHL regular-season games this season split between the Guelph Storm and the Bulldogs, where he had seven goals, 36 assists, 43 points, and a plus-10 rating. He also had two goals and seven points in 15 playoff games for the Bulldogs this spring.
Luchanko played in four regular-season games with the Flyers this campaign before being assigned to the OHL, where he was held off the scoresheet.
Luchanko was selected by the Flyers with the 13th overall pick of the 2024 NHL Entry Draft and is considered one of Philadelphia's top prospects.
Luchanko will now provide the Flyers with more forward depth as they continue their playoff run. The Flyers are facing a must-win Game 3, as a loss would put them in a 3-0 series hole.
