On Jan. 30, the Philadelphia Flyers made a big move. The Metropolitan Division club traded Joel Farabee and Morgan Frost to the Calgary Flames in exchange for Andrei Kuzmenko, Jakob Pelletier, a 2025 second-round pick, and a 2028 seventh-round pick.
Now, the Flyers have announced what Kuzmenko and Pelletier's numbers will be.
Kuzmenko will be the first Flyer to wear No. 96 in franchise history. This is the same number he wore with both the Vancouver Canucks and the Flames.

Pelletier, on the other hand, will rock No. 22 with the Flyers, just like he did with the Flames. No. 22 is a popular one in Flyers history, as 25 players have worn the number before Pelletier. The last player to do so was Brendan Lemieux, who wore it during the 2022-23 season.
