The Philadelphia Flyers have signed forward prospect Jacob Gaucher to a two-year, entry-level contract.

Gaucher, 23, had been under an American Hockey League (AHL) deal with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. However, after signing this ELC with the Flyers, he now can be called up to their NHL roster if they wish to.

Gaucher has certainly earned this ELC, as he has played excellently with the Phantoms this season. After posting eight goals and eight assists in 59 games last season with the AHL squad, he has a team-leading 10 goals to go along with 15 points in 23 games this campaign.
