This Philadelphia Flyers forward is having a nice start to the 2024-25 campaign.

As Denver Barkey heads back to the London Knights after spending the last couple of months watching the Philadelphia Flyers' training camp from the sidelines, he reflects on his recovery from illness and coming back a stronger player than before.

Philadelphia Flyers forward Joel Farabee is looking to have a big year with the Metropolitan Division club. The 24-year-old winger set new career highs with 22 goals, 28 assists, and 50 points last season but also struggled down the stretch.

In his final 12 games of the 2023-24 season, Farabee had just one goal. In addition, during the season's final three months, he had just five goals and 10 points in 32 games.

After a tough end to the 2023-24 campaign, Farabee will look to be a more consistent offensive threat this season. So far, he is off to an encouraging start, as he has a goal and an assist.

While the season is young, it is certainly good to see Farabee start the campaign with points in back-to-back games. He has shown in the past that he can be an impactful offensive contributor, and it will be fascinating to see if he is more consistent in 2024-25. If he is, we could see a career year from the Syracuse, New York native.
