This Flyers winger is being considered one of the NHL's most underrated forwards.

In a recent article for The Athletic, Harman Dayal took a look at the seven most underrated forwards in the NHL. A Philadelphia Flyers winger made the cut, as Owen Tippett was mentioned.

Seeing Tippett get a shout-out like this is understandable, as he is a player who has been consistently making an impact over the last several seasons. This has undoubtedly been the case this campaign as well, as he has scored 28 goals and recorded 51 points in 81 games.

With this, Tippett has now scored at least 20 goals in each of the last four seasons and has had over 50 points in two out of the last three campaigns. With numbers like these, he has been a nice part of the Flyers' roster for multiple years now.

While Tippett has come up in the rumor mill as a potential trade candidate at times, his contributions to the Flyers should not be overlooked. He is a strong part of their forward group and is continuing to make a difference with his goal scoring. Because of this, he is certainly one of the reasons why the Flyers have made it into the playoffs this year.
