After spending each of the last two seasons with the Philadelphia Flyers organization, Rodrigo Abols is heading overseas. 

SC Bern of Switzerland's National League has announced that they have signed Abols to a three-year contract. 

Abols appeared in 42 games during this past season with the Flyers, where he recorded three goals, seven assists, 10 points, and 49 hits. His season came to an end in January due to injury. 

Abols posted five goals, 10 assists, 15 points, and 74 hits in 64 games over two seasons with the Flyers. Overall, the 6-foot-4 center was a solid depth forward during his time in Philadelphia. He will now be looking to make an impact with SC Bern after landing this multi-year deal. 

Abols also recorded 15 goals, 17 assists, and 32 points in 47 games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms during the 2024-25 season. His strong play in the AHL with Lehigh Valley helped him make the jump to the NHL with the Flyers. 

It will be now be interesting to see what Abols can do overseas with SC Bern from here.
