Travis Konecny's name has floated around in trade conversations, but it sounds like he'll be staying put (for now).

Travis Konecny was arguably the Philadelphia Flyers' best player throughout the 2022-23 season, and it sounds like he'll be returning to Philly for the 2023-24 campaign.
According to Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic, the Flyers have taken calls on the 26-year-old winger, but the offers they've received haven't been enticing enough for general manager Danny Brière to pull the trigger.
In all likelihood, the Flyers will wait until the trade deadline to orchestrate a Konecny deal.
Konecny is coming off the best season of his career. He reached the 30-goal mark for the first time in his career and led the Flyers in points (61) despite missing a quarter of the season.
He also earned the trust of head coach John Tortorella, who ended up using the speedy forward extensively on the penalty kill throughout the season.
"I trust him. I'm always looking for him," Tortorella said of Konecny in January.
"He's a bundle of energy, and I love that about him. With a bundle of energy, there's going to be some crazy stuff that happens. I don't want to overcoach him, but when we get to being a team that is competing in big games, playoffs and all that, when we get there as a team, hopefully at that time he'll lead the way as far as situational play."
Konecny has two years remaining on his contract, which carries an annual cap hit of $5.5 million. At that number, contending teams will likely have Brière on speed dial around the trade deadline with hopes of potentially adding Konecny to their roster.
