It's official: Cutter Gauthier is a World Juniors gold medalist.

Team USA routed tournament hosts Sweden 6-2 in a fiery game filled with elite displays of skill on both sides, blowing kisses to the crowds, and even a heated brawl towards the end of the game.

Gauthier finished the tournament tied for the most points (12), along with being voted as the tournament's best forward.

Coming off of what can only be described as an excellent tournament for the 19-year-old center, Flyers fans are getting hyped up for his imminent addition to the team.

Gauthier will be in good company when he gets to Philadelphia, as current Flyers defenseman Cam York captained Team USA to a gold medal during the 2021 World Junior Championship.
