The latest edition of, "What Do the Flyers Plan on Doing With Nick Seeler and Sean Walker?"

As the trade deadline rapidly approaches on Mar. 8, plenty of eyes will be on the Philadelphia Flyers' front office to see what deals will be made to bolster a team that has already exceeded expectations this season.
One of the most-talked about sagas for the Flyers is whether or not defensemen Sean Walker and Nick Seeler will stay in Philadelphia. The two have consistently been paired up on the blue line, impressing many, including head coach John Tortorella, who said, "They've been our best [defensive] pairing."
There's been plenty of chatter as to what moves would best benefit the team. Some fans think the Flyers should do everything in their power to keep both players, some think that it doesn't make sense to break up what has been a solid defensive pairing, and others believe that Walker and Seeler should only be let go if the right offer comes around.
Inevitable trade rumors and opinion wars aside, as of publication, there is not much confirmed information available as to what general manager Danny Briere has planned for Seeler and Walker. TSN's Darren Dreger reported that it's "too soon to determine what direction the Flyers go with Walker and Seeler," but did say that extension discussions were happening as Briere continues monitoring the market.
Out of the two players, it's being reported that Walker and his team have had more contact with the Flyers recently, with a "mid-to-long term" deal on the table if money negotiations work out. Good news for Flyers fans: There is "mutual interest" in working out a deal, as the reports maintain that Walker "would love to stay" in Philadelphia.
Seeler's talks, on the other hand, are not being reported as going so positively, although a deal has not been completely ruled out yet. The Flyers' front office has made it clear that they have a plan in place for this trade deadline—one that they are not willing to compromise on—and Seeler's camp don't seem satisfied with what the Flyers have laid out for his potential future in Philadelphia.
