A former Flyers' son is now part of the club's prospect pool.

The Philadelphia Flyers added another promising forward to their prospect pipeline in the third round of the 2023 NHL Entry Draft, and his last name may sound a bit familiar.

With the No. 103 pick, the Flyers selected Cole Knuble from the USHL's Fargo Force. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound forward logged 30 goals and 66 points in 57 games during the 2022-23 season.

Knuble is the son of former Flyer Mike Knuble, who scored 118 goals and 229 points in 338 games as a member of the club over the span of five seasons.

Cole turns 19 on Saturday. He was passed over at last year's draft after posting 49 points in 62 games during the 2021-22 season.
