Gagner, 35, just served as Canada's captain at the Spengler Cup. Now, he is getting another shot at the AHL level after landing this PTO with Belleville. Gagner spent the 2023-24 season with the Edmonton Oilers. In 28 games with the Pacific Division club, he had five goals, 10 points, and a minus-2 rating. He also had three goals and nine points in 15 games with their AHL affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors. Gagner spent the 2015-16 season as a member of the Flyers. In 53 games with Philly that season, he had eight goals, eight assists, and a plus-4 rating.
