Vladar simply was on fire for the Flyers in Game 2, as he put together a 27-save shutout. With this, he now has a 2-0-0 record, a 1.00 goals-against average, and a .956 save percentage in two playoff games for the Flyers so far this spring. With how good a start Vladar is having this postseason, it is clear that the Flyers' decision to sign him this past offseason is only looking better. The 28-year-old was one of the main reasons why the Flyers shocked many by getting into the playoffs this year. His stats from the regular season show this, as he had a 29-14-7 record, a .906 save percentage, and a 2.42 goals-against average in 52 games. The Flyers have been in need of a high-impact goalie for a long time, and Vladar is continuing to be that for them in a big way.
