In their top 50 Players Right Now list, the Penguins captain came in as the ninth best player in the NHL.

Playing all 82 games during the 2022-23 season, Crosby finished with a team-leading 93 points.
Crosby may have once again been the leader, but the Penguins missed the postseason for just the second time in his career.
