Buffalo Sabres forward Jason Zucker is on a hot streak with eight points in the past four games, including six goals.

Penguins captain Sidney Crosby broke Mario Lemieux's franchise assists record - securing yet another part of his legacy.

Even though the Buffalo Sabres are struggling to win games and climb out of the bottom of the Atlantic Division, Jason Zucker is doing everything he can to help his team.

In the past four games, the Sabres are just 1-2-1 with 12 goals scored.

Meanwhile, Zucker, who played with the Pittsburgh Penguins from 2020 to 2023, has eight points in these four games, thanks to six goals and two assists, which account for 66.6% of the Sabres' offense.

Historically, he's two games shy of matching a career-high of recording a point in seven consecutive games, a feat he achieved with the Minnesota Wild from Jan. 10 to Jan. 30, 2018.

It will be interesting to see where Zucker, who ranks second on the Sabres with 15 goals and 31 points, is statistically the next time he plays the Penguins, which happens on Jan. 17.
