The Pittsburgh Penguins won't see a coaching change any time soon as Kyle Dubas believes Mike Sullivan is the right guy for the job.

Drew O'Connor may have earned himself an extended look in the Pittsburgh Penguins' top six, even when Rickard Rakell returns from injury.

With the struggles that currently surround the Pittsburgh Penguins, there is quite a loud audience that want to see a certain change behind the bench.

As the Penguins losing streak reached four games, a portion of the fan base determined they want to see a coaching change and Mike Sullivan was the primary target.

While many believe a new voice might bring a resurgence, upper management doesn’t see it that way.

Penguins president of hockey operations and general manager spoke highly of Sullivan.

“We’re very fortunate to have Mike,” Dubas said. “Do I think that he’s the right person for this job now and far into the future? I absolutely do.”

Dubas took it upon himself to support the coaching staff to the best of his ability and is encouraged at the group’s ability to adapt to certain situations.

“I think the thing that has been encouraging for me with the coaching staff is that they’re not transfixed by their own systems,” Dubas said. “We have to continue to adapt.”

Over the course of nine seasons with the Penguins, Sullivan has worked his way into the greatest coach in team history.

He’s the only head coach to lead the Penguins to multiple Stanley Cup championships and hold the franchise record in wins with 348.

Things haven’t been going great for the Penguins so far, but Dubas firmly believes Sullivan is the right guy for the job.
