The Pittsburgh Penguins have announced their 2026 training camp schedule.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have unveiled their training camp schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 season. 

The first training camp practice inside the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex will be next Thursday, Sept. 17. Group A will take the ice at 8:45 a.m. ET and will practice until 10:15 a.m. ET. Group B will be next from 11:30 a.m. ET until 1 p.m. ET, before Group C finishes things off from 12:45 p.m. ET until 2:15 p.m. ET.

Friday's and Saturday's practices will follow the same schedule, with Sunday as a scheduled day off. Morning skates will be held before three of the four scheduled preseason games. 

There will also be a practice at noon ET on Sept. 25 and on Sept. 27. All practices are free and open to the public. 

The Penguins will open the 2026-27 regular season on the road against the Philadelphia Flyers on Sept. 30. Puck drop will be at 7:30 p.m. ET on TNT. 

The Penguins will then play their home opener against the Montreal Canadiens on Oct. 3.
