Now that the Olympics are over, the Pittsburgh Penguins will soon be returning to game action. They are set to face off against the New Jersey Devils on Feb. 26 and will be looking to start their final stretch of the season on the right note with a victory.
Noel Acciari is one Penguins player who will be looking to continue to make an impact, as the veteran forward has been having himself a nice bounce-back season in 2025-26.
In 42 games this season, Acciari has recorded six goals, nine assists, 15 points, and a plus-9 rating. This is after the Johnston, Rhode Island native had five goals, 12 points, and a minus-25 rating in 79 games this past season for Pittsburgh. He also had seven points in 55 games for the Penguins back in 2023-24.
With this, there is no question that Acciari has been providing more offense for the Penguins this season. The 5-foot-11 forward has a real chance of hitting the 20-point mark for the first time since the 2022-23 season.
Yet, besides stepping up his offensive production this season, Acciari is also continuing to make an impact because of his smart defensive play and forechecking. With this, he has been a solid part of the Penguins' bottom six this season, and it will be interesting to see how he finishes off the campaign from here.
