    Pittsburgh Penguins prospects will be in Buffalo for an annual challenge event for the third straight year in September.

    On Tuesday, the Pittsburgh Penguins announced that their top prospects will travel to upstate New York to participate in the annual prospect challenge at the LECOM Harborcenter in Buffalo.

    Prospects from the Buffalo Sabres, Boston Bruins, Columbus Blue Jackets, New Jersey Devils, Ottawa Senators, and Penguins will participate in a three-game event starting on Sept. 13 and running through Sept. 16.

    Pittsburgh's schedule includes these contests:

    During the club's announcement, they provided a roster of prospects who would attend, including Brayden Yager, Owen Pickering, and Sergei Murashov. 

    Moreover, older prospects who recently spent time with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, like Avery Hayes, Logan Pietila, and Scooter Brickey, will attend the event.
