One of the major storylines for the Pittsburgh Penguins this season has been players hitting career milestones seemingly every other game.
And one of their veteran forwards managed to hit two major marks in one night.
With his assist on Sidney Crosby's power play goal in the second period against the Florida Panthers on Friday, forward Bryan Rust collected his 400th career point during his 600th career NHL game.
The assist marked Rust's 28th point in 32 games this season, and it was Crosby's 11th goal of the season:
Rust becomes the seventh active Penguins' player to reach both milestones and just the fourth active rostered player to do it all with Pittsburgh. Only three players in his 2010 draft class have registered more points than Rust's 400.
He needs just 13 goals to reach the 200-goal milestone. He currently owns 15 on the season.
