The Pittsburgh Penguins have released their 2024 preseason schedule.

PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Penguins have announced their 2024 preseason schedule with seven games to prepare for the 2024-25 season. Looking to bounce back from a second straight season without the playoffs, the Penguins will start their new campaign against the usual suspects.

Of the seven preseason games, the Penguins will face off against four different teams, the Columbus Blue Jackets, Detroit Red Wings, and Buffalo Sabres each for two games, plus the Ottawa Senators in the NHL’s annual Kraft Hockeyville.

The Penguins will open the preseason with their two matches against the Sabres and close with two games in back-to-back nights against the Blue Jackets. The Hockeyville battle will fall in between matches against the Red Wings.

The Penguins are participating in Kraft Hockeyville for the third time since 2015 and for the first time as the visitor.

There are no split-squad games on the Penguins preseason ledger this year.
