The Penguins reportedly have Jordan Kyrou on their radar.

The Pittsburgh Penguins reportedly have one of the NHL's top trade candidates on their radar early on this off-season.

According to Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos, the Penguins "have plenty of interest" in St. Louis Blues forward Jordan Kyrou.

Kyrou has been the subject of trade rumors for multiple seasons now. With the Blues taking a big step in the wrong direction this past season, it is certainly possible that they could move on from the skilled winger this off-season.

If the Penguins acquired Kyrou, he would offer them a long-term answer for their top six. This is because the 28-year-old forward is signed through the 2030-31 season, carrying an $8.125 million cap hit. With this, he would help the Penguins both in the present and the future if acquired.

Kyrou had a down season in 2025-26 with the Blues though, as he posted 18 goals and 46 points in 72 games. However, when noting that he had 36 goals and 70 points just back in 2024-25, he certainly has the potential to bounce back next season. He has also had recorded at least 31 goals and 70 points three times in the last five seasons.

Overall, with Kyrou being on the right side of 30 and locked up for multiple more years, it makes sense that a retooling team like the Penguins have him on their radar. Let's see if they can land him this summer.
