
For the 10th time in his career, Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby has been selected to the NHL All-Star Game.
Sidney Crosby is in the midst of yet another stellar season as captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins and it’s that play that has earned him the right to once again represent his team at the NHL All-Star Game.
The NHL is in the midst of revealing the first 32 names heading to Toronto of the 2024 All-Star Game, and Crosby has been chosen as the Penguins’ first representative.
In 36 games this season, Crosby has scored 21 goals and 17 assists for a 38-point total and was at one point pacing past the 51-goal mark on the year.
This is Crosby’s 10th time being chosen to attend the All-Star Game, good for second most in Penguins history.
Crosby is the easy, and most deserving choice from the Penguins’ roster not only for his stats but at the age of 36, he’s still one of the best players in the NHL.
There are still more names that can be voted to the All-Stat Game meaning Crosby may not be alone if the fans vote the right way.
Jake Guentzel currently leads the Penguins in points with 42, Kris Letang is having a fantastic season on both sides of the puck, and even Evgeni Malkin is having a respectable year.
NHL's All-Star Weekend kicks off February 1.
