Alex Nylander continues to be sent back and forth by the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The most frequently seen driver on the Pennsylvania Turnpike is heading back on the road; the Pittsburgh Penguins have once again recalled Alex Nylander.
The Penguins are recalling Nylander on an emergency basis for the second time in just over 24 hours.
Nylander was recalled and took part in warmups ahead of the match against the Minnesota Wild, but was re-assigned just before puck drop.
Since the recall was on an emergency basis, it was assumed that a forward on the roster was unable to perform.
The same assumption carries to this recall with it being another emergency basis.
Nylander has recorded one point in six games with the NHL Penguins during the 2022-23 season.
During his time with the WBS Penguins, Nylander has picked up 25 goals and 25 assists.
