The Pittsburgh Penguins will start the season against the Chicago Blackhawks and possible Connor Bedard.
The official regular season schedule has been announced for the Pittsburgh Penguins as the NHL release the slate for all 32 teams in the league.
The Penguins schedule features nothing too out of the ordinary in comparison to last year that saw them play the New York Rangers three times in a week.
The 2023-24 season will open at home against the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday, October 10, at 8:00 p.m.
If things go as planned, that could also be the first career game of top draft prospect Connor Bedard.
Three days later the Penguins travel for their first rivalry matchup of the season when they take on the Washington Capitals for their home opener.
The Penguins’ schedule features two different four-game home stands as well as two four-game road trips.
Other key dates include November 19, 2023 when they play host to the Stanley Cup Champion Vegas Golden Knights and March 10, 2024 when Hart Trophy winner Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers visit Pittsburgh.
The Penguins have 12 sets of back-to-backs and will play each team across the league at least twice as usual.
Broadcast and viewing information will be released at a later date.
