The Pittsburgh Penguins don't seem to be done adding to their PTO signings.
Just when you thought the Pittsburgh Penguins were set for the start of training camp with their current roster, Kyle Dubas decides to add another name to the party.
First reported by Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports and the NHL Network, the Penguins will sign forward Colin White to a professional tryout offer.
White joins three other PTOs that are scheduled to be at training camp in just under two weeks.
In late-August, the Penguins signed Libor Hajek, Mark Pysyk, and Austin Wagner to PTOs.
The Penguins already have a deep list of forwards that can battle for legitimate roles in the Penguins organization, and White just adds to the choices.
White was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the first round of the 2015 NHL Draft and has appeared in 292 career NHL games.
The right handed shot forward has recorded a total of 113 points (44G-69A) and holds a career-high of 41 points in a single season.
Most recently, White played the 2022-23 season with the Florida Panthers scoring 15 points in 68 regular season games.
White played in all 21 postseason games recording a pair of assists as the Panthers made the push all the way to the Stanley Cup Final.
The Penguins have made the PTO signing official.
