The San Jose Sharks have activated their big winger off injured reserve ahead of their Saturday night matchup against the Dallas Stars.

Klim Kostin hasn't played a game for the San Jose Sharks since Jan. 10 against the Utah Hockey Club.
The 6'4, 232lbs winger has been dealing with a lower-body injury and was initially thought to be out through the 4 Nations Face-Off break. After Friday's practice, Sharks coach Ryan Warsofsky said Kostin "had a chance" to play tonight.
San Jose placed center Colin White on waivers yesterday, and he has since cleared and been sent back to San Jose of the American Hockey League.
In 26 games this season, Kostin has one goal and three assists.
"When he is on his game, he's a force to be reckoned with," Warsofsky said. "He's got size, skating, [and] skill. If he can put it all together, we're looking at a really good hockey player."
Kostin is a former first-round pick by the St. Louis Blues and had his best offensive success after he was traded to the Sharks last season.
In 19 games last season, Kostin had five goals and five assists.
The San Jose Sharks did not hold a morning skate, so it is unconfirmed if Kostin will return to the lineup. Warsofsky will meet with the media at 4:30 p.m.
