In an anonymous NHL player poll by The Athletic, the San Jose Sharks were the third most picked team about being the No. 1 team a player would have on their no-trade list.

Of the 82 players polled, 8.54% of responses had the San Jose Sharks as the team they would not want to go to via trade. The Winnipeg Jets were the runaway winner of the poll with 48.78% of the vote.
"There's not much to do out there," one player told The Athletic. "It's f—ing cold. I haven't heard a guy go to Winnipeg and be like, 'This is going to be my forever home.'"
Despite players who don't want to go to Winnipeg, the franchise continues to win and re-sign its best players, such as Mark Scheifele and Connor Hellebuyck.
The Jets are currently first in the NHL, with a 38-14-3 record.
The Buffalo Sabres are the second-highest-voted team at 19.51%.
"The way it's going there, Buffalo — it's just been kind of mucky there forever," one player said. "And for me right now in my career, I don't really need that. It's not gonna help me."
San Jose might not be so high on the list in the coming seasons as they hopefully return to the postseason. Veteran forward Tyler Toffoli signed a five-year contract last summer, showing that top NHL players want to play in the Bay Area.
