San Jose Sharks prospect Brandon Svoboda has made Team USA's 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship roster.

San Jose Sharks prospect forward Brandon Svoboda has been officially named to Team USA's 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship roster.

Svoboda was considered a borderline player heading into selection camp but has made the roster. New York Islanders prospect Cole Eiserman and potential 2025 NHL Draft No. 1 pick James Hagens are also on the team.

The 19-year-old centerman plays for Boston University and has three goals and 17 PIMs in 11 games.

Svoboda was drafted 71st overall in 2023 and had a solid Draft +1 year. The forward played in the USHL for the Youngstown Phantoms and Fargo Force last season. He won a championship, the Clarke Cup, with the Force. In nine playoff games, he had four goals and one assist.
