San Jose Sharks goalie Mackenzie Blackwood told THN a funny story of when he ran into Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Andrew Peeke.
Blackwood told THN that he ran into Peeke in Florida a few years ago. He explained that they didn't know who each other were and were chatting.
That all changed when Peeke pulled out his phone. Blackwood said he noticed Peeke's background because it was a picture of the defenseman playing in the NHL. But something was interesting about the picture.
Upon a closer look, Blackwood also realized he was in the photo! Peeke explained to Blackwood that it was a picture of him scoring his first NHL goal against the New Jersey Devils with Blackwood in goal!

Peeke scored his first NHL goal on February 16, 2020, just before the COVID-19 shutdown.
Blackwood told THN he would never forget that encounter and said, "It is a small world."
