The San Jose Sharks and Macklin Celebrini visit the Montreal Canadiens tonight in the third game of a seven-game road trip.

The 2024 No. 1 pick has had some big markets come through the SAP Center in San Jose, but now the 18-year-old will be headed into big media scrums.

Celebrini has handled media beautifully through his rookie season. He's shown personality and the ability to seem like a seasoned veteran who has been in the NHL for over five years.

The attention that the rookie has garnered is not unexpected. He is the leader in goals by a rookie with 18 and is the leading candidate for the Calder Trophy for Rookie of the Year.

San Jose held an optional morning skate in Montreal on Thursday, and if the center skated, he would likely be surrounded by media for the second straight day.

The media tour won't stop there. Celebrini and the Sharks head to Ottawa on Saturday, and Canadian media will heavily test him as the San Jose Sharks take on the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday.
