
The San Jose Sharks take on the Los Angeles Kings at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, tonight.

Tonight marks the San Jose Sharks final preseason game against the Los Angeles Kings.
Mikael Granlund will make his preseason debut for San Jose, and MacKenzie Blackwood will start in goal. Kevin Labanc returns to the lineup as well.

8:27: Pierre-Luc Dubois gets the Kings the lead with a one-time shot. San Jose Struggled to get the puck out of the defensive zone. 1-0 Kings.
17:39: The Sharks do a great job recovering the puck while on the man advantage. Granlund fired a wrist shot from the point that Alexander Barabanov deflected into the top corner. 1-1.
After a slow start to the game, San Jose used the two+ powerplays to get themselves engaged offensively. The five-forward powerplay unit effectively rotated around the zone, which led to the Sharks goal.
Blackwood was solid and didn't have a chance on the goal against.
8:16: Some sloppy play in the defensive zone allows the Kings to take the puck away. Anze Kopitar put the puck behind Blackwood from a centering pass. 2-1 Kings.
14:45: Thomas Hertl takes a smartly placed wrist shot that creates a rebound for Mike Hoffman to bury into a wide-open net. 2-2.
It was a fourth period that saw some critical defensive mistakes from the Sharks. The top line of Zadina-Hertl-Hoffman has shown some excellent chemistry.
Blackwood was again strong but not overly tested in the second frame.
3:28: Trevor Moore found room in front after Mario Ferraro's stick broke. Got a wide-open one-timer from the slot. 3-2 Kings.
14:15: Thomas Bordeleau is able to pull the puck to the backhand from behind the net and beat Copley to the far side. Another great developing play from behind the net for Team Teal. 3-3
0:17: Adrian Kempe scores the overtime winner 17 seconds into overtime. He picks the high far-side corner on Blackwood. Kings win 4-3.
