San Jose Sharks centerman Alexander Wennberg is expected to play against the Boston Bruins on Saturday night.

The Swedish forward suffered a lower-body injury against the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday. He did not practice on Friday, and head coach Ryan Warsofsky told reporters that he could be considered a game-time decision.

San Jose held an optional morning skate ahead of the Bruins matchup, and Wennberg did not participate again. However, Warsofsky said that Wennberg "should be good to go."

Alexandar Georgiev will get his first start in a week tonight. The netminder was pulled after the first period against the Washington Capitals, where he gave up three goals.

Goalie coach Thomas Speer suited up for the morning skate as Warsofksy revealed that backup goalie Georgi Romanov is dealing with a minor injury. The injury won't prevent Romanov from being the backup, but the San Jose Sharks coaching staff is managing how the rookie netminder is feeling.
