San Jose Sharks head coach Ryan Warsofsky said Vitek Vanecek and Yaroslav Askarov traveled with the team for its two-game road trip.

Mackenzie Blackwood will start for the Sharks against the Dallas Stars tonight, and Askarov will be his backup.

"Vitek is day-to-day," Warsofsky said. "We will play it as we go."

When asked who will start tomorrow night's game against the St. Louis Blues, Warsfosky wouldn't reveal it. He said his focus remains on tonight's game against the Stars.

The Sharks' head coach said there won't be any lineup changes following their win against the Red Wings. In the last back-to-back San Jose played in, Will Smith did not play the first game but dressed for the second. Once again, Warsofsky wouldn't reveal the plan for the young forward, but he confirmed he's in the lineup tonight.
