Former Sharks Forward Placed On Waivers cover image

This former Sharks forward has been placed on waivers.

A former San Jose Sharks forward is available for the taking, as Noah Gregor has been placed on waivers by the Florida Panthers.

Gregor is currently in his first season with the Panthers. In 24 games with the Atlantic Division club this campaign, he has posted one goal, two assists, three points, 11 penalty minutes, 27 hits, and a minus-7 rating.

Teams looking for more forward depth could consider taking a shot on Gregor. However, if the former Sharks forward clears waivers, the Panthers would then be able to assign him to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.

Gregor was selected by the Sharks with the 111th overall pick of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. In 190 games over five seasons and two stints with the Sharks, he recorded 26 goals, 26 assists, 52 points, 82 penalty minutes, 116 penalty minutes, and 330 hits. This included him playing in 12 games with the Sharks this past season, where he had one assist and 18 hits.

In 317 career NHL games over seven seasons, Gregor has recorded 37 goals, 36 assists, 73 points, and 580 hits.
