Macklin Celebrini and Cam Lund Return to Training Camp cover image

Ahead of tonight’s preseason matchup against the Vegas Golden Knights, Macklin Celebrini and Cam Lund both returned to the ice this morning at Sharks Ice.

Celebrini was on the ice before the scheduled skates, alongside forward Donavan Houle and development coach Mike Ricci. Celebrini was sent home from the first day of training camp due to illness, and had been off of the ice since. While he’s not skating as a part of the bigger groups, it is a sign that things are heading in the right direction for the 19-year-old star forward.

Celebrini was not available to the media, as he’s still not a full participant at this time.

Cam Lund on the other hand was injured during the Golden State Rookie Faceoff, and has been out with an upper-body injury. He took part in the first non-game group skate, wearing a yellow non-contact jersey.

Lund met with the media following the skate, stating that he hopes to be out of the non-contact jersey within a few days.

At this time, it is unknown when either player will be available for a preseason game; however, things are looking good for both Celebrini and Lund.
