San Jose Sharks' forward Macklin Celebrini was a finalist for the Calder Trophy this past season, and while he had a strong campaign and made a push to win the honour of being named rookie of the year, he finished third place in voting behind Calgary Flames' Dustin Wolf, and Montreal Canadiens' Lane Hutson.

Celebrini, who had an incredible campaign in his first season with the Sharks, scored 25 goals and 38 assists for 63 points through 70 games. He missed some time with an injury, but that didn't stop him from being a strong offensive producer.

Celebrini's defensive game was also fantastic this past season, and with a bright future ahead of him as the Sharks try to get back into playoff contention, hopefully, he can consistently establish himself as one of the league's strongest two-way forwards.
