Brandon Tanev, Oliver Bjorkstrand, Adam Larsson, Yanni Gourde, Jared McCann, and Eeli Tolvanen scored for Seattle. Joey Daccord stopped 13 shots.
The Sharks had zero answers to anything the Kraken threw at them. Mike Hoffman scored, and Kaapo Kahkonen did his best but gave up four goals on 17 shots. Mackenzie Blackwood made 10 saves in relief.
There were a lot of benchings throughout the game. Quinn sat Nikita Okhotiuk and William Eklund in the first period. After Filip Zadina took his second penalty of the game, Quinn sat him for ten minutes.
San Jose had seven shots in the first period and just one in the second.
Jan Rutta took a hard hit in the first period and did not return. He played 4:17. The Sharks did dress 11 forwards and seven defensemen.

10:36: Bjorkstrand takes the big rebound off the glass and makes it 2-0.
11:08: Larsson picks the top corner. 3-0 Kraken.
18:46: Gourde gets one past the goalie. 4-0 Kraken.
3:36: McCann beats Blackwood on the powerplay. 5-0 Kraken.
2:22: Tolvanen scores to make it 6-0.
15:32: Hoffman scores. 6-1 Kraken.
15:46: Tolvanen makes it 7-1 Kraken.
