Calgary will be starting Gilory, California native Dustin Wolf in goal.
San Jose had some injury scares in the third period of last night's game against the Winnipeg Jets, but head coach David Quinn told the media that the lineup would remain the same other than Mackenzie Blackwood starting in goal.
Nico Sturm left the game in the third after hitting his head on the ice but is okay and will be in the lineup today.
Puck support has been an area of focus for Quinn. Whether throwing the puck away to the other team or just bad puck movement on the breakout, tonight's focus will be even harder on smart puck support.
"We didn't read off each other well enough," Quinn said about last night. "There were two guys in one area. We weren't spreading the ice to give a guy an opportunity to move pucks quickly."
He also wants to see more pace out of the team but referenced that he recognized that the team hadn't played a game in two weeks.
"I thought, under the circumstances, it was a pretty good game in some areas," Quinn said. "There's really no other way around it. We've got to possess the puck more. We've got to make sure that we don't just give it to the opponent too often, which I thought was a big problem."
