The San Jose Sharks won their second straight game by defeating the Edmonton Oilers 3-2 Thursday night.

Fabian Zetterlund, Tomas Hertl, and Filip Zadina scored for the Sharks. Mackenzie Blackwood was amazing again, making 39 saves.

Darnell Nurse and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored for the Oilers, and Stuart Skinner made 15 saves.

The Sharks continued a more robust brand of hockey that allows them to be competitive in more games. They are getting excellent goaltending on top of that.

The Oilers may have a massive fallout after tonight's game. The hockey world felt that Edmonton was ready to be a Stanley Cup contender this year, but has only mustered two wins.

Although not confirmed, there have been rumors about a possible change in head coach and more if Edmonton lost this game. Given tonight's result, the headlines will be packed with possibilities.
