Alex Nedeljkovic is staying in the Bay Area for a bit longer.

The San Jose Sharks announced on Friday morning that they had signed Nedeljkovic to a two-year contract extension worth a total of $6 million.

The 30 year old netminder has appeared in 26 games for the Sharks this season. During that time, he’s recorded a record of 11-9-2, a 2.83 goals-against average, and a save percentage of .902.

The Sharks acquired Nedeljkovic from the Pittsburgh Penguins over the summer, sending a third round pick in the 2028 Draft back to Pittsburgh.

He’s had a journeyman career up to this point, spending time with the Carolina Hurricanes and Detroit Red Wings before making his way to the Penguins. Now, it seems that Nedeljkovic has found his home for the foreseeable future.
