Former San Jose Sharks goalie Aaron Dell has found another home.

Yesterday, the Los Angeles Kings AHL affiliate, the Ontario Reign, announced the signing of Dell.

Dell recently played for Team Canada in the Spengler Cup. He appeared in four games and posted a 2.59 goals-against average.

Dell had been seen skating with Sharks legend Joe Thornton and injured forward Logan Couture before he went to the Spengler Cup.

The day after this clip was released, the Carolina Hurricanes announced they had signed Dell to a PTO. The Hurricanes were aware of his participation with Team Canada.

As for why he left the Carolina organization:

Dell and his wife are expecting their second child. Dell's wife is from the Bay Area and resides here during the summer.

The other reason he is headed to Ontario is that the Kings recently announced that backup goalie Phoenix Copley underwent ACL surgery and will miss the remainder of the season.

Dell will get a chance to play AHL games and likely be the Kings' No. 3 option in goal for the remainder of the season.
