Claude Giroux, Thomas Chabot, Brady Tkachuk, and Drake Batherson scored for the Senators. Joonas Korpisalo made 14 saves.
The Sharks went down 2-0 early but responded with three unanswered goals from Anthony Duclair, Marc-Edouard Vlasic, and Kevin Labanc. Mackenzie Blackwood was on top of his game as he made many big saves. He finished with 36 saves.
The Sharks were outshot 41-18 and were held in the game by their goaltender. The defensive marking and communication was not where it needed to be and allowed the Senators to have the majority of possession time in their offensive zone.

Blackwood makes a save but gives up a big rebound right to Drake Batherson, who tucks it. It was Batherson's 15th goal of the season.
Filip Zadina scores his first goal in 10 games with 3:04 left in the third to tie the game at four. The Sharks finally got some offensive zone time and capitalized on the opportunity.
